You Should Be Planning Your Bucket List
We have all had a year, give or take, of being at home and reflecting on our lives. For those of us with the travel bug, and in the industry, we are all itching to get out and play. The fact we can’t go everywhere we dream right now makes it much more acute. As […]

Disney World – Magic Kingdom – Cinderella’s Royal Table
There are certain dining experiences that define where you vacation. You can’t go to Italy without eating some pasta. You can’t go to England without seeing Big Ben. You can’t visit Colorado without at least looking at a mountain. You get the gist. Thus, Disney brings forth the quintessential dining experience – Cinderella’s Magic Table. […]

Magic Kingdom with Kids
Maybe it is my generation, but so many of us do not travel with kids to “kid places” because we want to capture the fun, with booze, and not be responsible for small beings. My cousins just did this in October, left the babe at home, and enjoyed the crap out of Star Wars “Galaxy’s […]

My First Time at Disney – part 2
Part 1 When I signed up for our day at Disney I expected it to be mildly busy. We went in late October on a Tuesday. Which meant, for this Halloween fanatic, a wonderfully Halloween-themed park and not that many people! NOT THAT MANY PEOPLE AT THE MAGIC KINGDOM Meaning, all of my fast passes […]

My First Time to Disney – Part 1
It took 28 years, but I actually got to go to Disney! As every kid I dreamed of going to Disney. 90s advertisements on TV didn’t help either, and it became an obsession. I remember in kindergarten we took turns bringing home a stuffed bear. When we returned from the weekend, we had to tell […]

Disney Springs – Raglan Road
Perhaps one of the best surprises on my last trip to Orlando was finding the gem that is Raglan Road in Disney Springs. It started with finding out that they have Gluten-Free fish and chips (something I haven’t had since 2015 when I was in England) and it ended with knowing it was the perfect […]

Disney Discount Shopping – Is it Worth it?
Disney is notoriously expensive, and adding on souvenirs can make everything that much more! My family isn’t particularly materialistic, but we do like fun items to remember our adventures and that includes Disney. All of us at my house have some favorite characters, and all of us have fandoms that we collect from. So, the […]

Disney Planning – What Are You Wearing?
Disney Planning – What are you wearing? What you are wearing to Disney is a huge question. The interwebs LOVES Disney Bounding and no doubt, I also find the cosplay meets every day fashion quite a treat (my stepdaughter and I will also be Disney Bounding in the Magic Kingdom in October). Then there is […]

Disney Planning -Do I Need This?
The truth is that you need what you would need for any day out. If you don’t plan to return to your hotel halfway through the day, bring it. If you need it regularly at home, at work, at running errands, maybe bring it. If you don’t hardly ever use it, don’t bring it. This will vary on who you are taking with you to Disney, your medical needs, and your specific preferences, but I am a big fan that you should always pack light.

Disney Planning – What to Eat?
Disney is well known for its food options at their parks. In days of lore it was the giant turkey legs and Mickey shaped ice creams. Today Disney is trying to constantly create and sell Insta-worthy options for a growing number of teens and young adults that capture everything.
